Book Review # 9:
The Gruffalo & The Gruffalo's Child

By learning more, my boy can express the feeling of "Fear" in conjunction with dark room/corner or being left alone. He understands the "creatures" like Monster, Dragon and even Gruffalo are all scary and make people frightened. Sometimes, he will pretend to make "ghost-face" and scare us as if he was one of the scary creatures.
Well, I think my boy learn about the concept from the books like The Gruffalo (1st) and The Gruffalo's Child (2nd). The stories are humour. Just read them to find out how a small creature like the mouse can scare away the big terrified creature like the gruffalo as well as to fool the other animals like snake, owl and fox. Besides, they are great to learn about the characteristics and habitats of these animals.
